12-12-12
The last consecutive month/day/year for almost 89 years

Today is 12-12-12, or as the real world calls it, December 12, 2012.

But for us geeks that really look forward to number combinations like several times a day looking at the clock when it’s 11:11 or 1:11 or 10:10, this is a day that deserves to be celebrated.

Detailed number position logistics aside [ie. there is a '20' in front of that '12' for the year], this day should mean a lot to more than just us technical nuts.

12 Things About 12

So once you have celebrated 12:12:12 today, palindrome fans will also get to celebrate when the clock hits 1:21:02, making it 2012-12-12 1:21:02 [unless you woke up early at 1:21:02 and are ahead of the curve].

So go out and make today memorable. It’s unique in it’s own same numerical way. And it won’t happen for another lifetime.
